Meet the Contributors

Melissa Camara Wilkins is a homeschooling mama of five. When she’s not sandwich making, diaper changing, or finger crocheting, she writes irreverent stories about life with a larger family at her blog and for kindle.

Tiffany Larson can’t remember a day of her childhood spent inside. She was riding bikes, rollerblading, building forts or playing in the snow. Her mother raised her on healthy food before it became popular and only when she had her first child, did the importance of a healthy lifestyle become a priority again. She is passionate about passing on her love for the outdoors and a healthy lifestyle to her two young children and her family spends their free time on the snow, water, dirt or road! She also loves interior design, reading, playing tennis, photography and has a small obsession with coupons. Tiffany can be found on Facebook at Mommy Goes Green and as a contributor at The Creative Mama.

Photo of Emily McClements Emily McClements, like many moms, began her journey toward natural living when she found out she was pregnant with her first child. From cloth diapers to homemade green cleaners, she began making small changes toward a simpler more natural lifestyle. When her husband lost his job a year later, she scrambled to also learn how to live as frugally as possible. She quickly realized that many things that save money also save the earth, and began chronicling her journey toward living “frugally green” at Live Renewed. She is now the proud mama of two little ones, and although her husband sometimes wonders what she has done with the woman he married, she is passionate about helping her family live differently and responsibly as they strive to be a good steward of all of the resources God has provided them with.

Krissa Jeldy is a busy mom of two who, since starting a family, has become passionate about learning all she can about living a simpler, more natural lifestyle. She enjoys discovering new home remedies to try, greener products to make and use, and real food recipes to nourish her family. She juggles her time between her job as an educational specialist, homeschooling her kindergartener, and chasing after her toddler. When she’s not busy grading papers she blogs at More Than Mundane.

Stacy Karen is a homeschooling mom of three and minister’s wife. She credits growing up in Australia for her green mindset and remembers fighting inner battles about buying recycled paper over the cheaper “new” paper as a young teen. Stacy is mildly obsessed with making anything and everything from scratch and shares many how-tos on her blog A Delightful Home(as well as encouragement for mamas striving to create happy homes for their families).

Jess Collier is married to her college sweetheart and beyond blessed to be called mama by three (soon to be four) boys. Together she and her hubby raise their boys in the mostly frozen tundra of Wisconsin, where you’re likely to find her sewing, thrifting, and drinking lots of coffee. She blogs her sewing adventures at If Only They Would Nap, sharing sewing tutorials and her passions for fabric, family, real food and faith.
