A Simpler Season: Review and Giveaway

Well, it’s official. I’ve broken down and busted out a bit of Christmas music and packed my Operation Christmas Child box. Yep, the holidays are officially upon us.

I figure since Thanksgiving is sneaking up on us, all early and whatnot this year, that I might as well get in the spirit a bit early.

I’m hoping that in doing so, extending the season a bit, it will make things seem less rushed. Because try as I may to not wait till the last minute, things always feel rushed for the handmade-minded girl that I am.

If you can at all relate to me, and if you find yourself craving a simpler, more enjoyable holiday season, then I have a treat for you today.

Announcing the Summer Fun ebook!

This week starts our first official full week of summer! School is out and the kids are ready for some summer fun.

Isn’t that top photo a great shot? It’s so the epitome of summer to me (that’s Gigi and my brother, a few years ago). I have so many fun memories from growing up, and honestly, most of them are from the days of summer; I hope that’s how my kids remember their childhood, too.

I’m excited to share a great free resource with you today, Life Your Way‘s Summer Fun eBook, chock full of ideas (more than 40 recipes, crafts, activities and planning tips, to be exact) to help you make the most of your summer.

Inspiring books: Nurturing Creativity {Review & Giveaway}
