I am about to show you the easiest craft in the history of… ever.

I’m expecting a baby in a few weeks, and I’m at the point that “easiest ever” is exactly the right difficulty level for me!

(Okay, okay, that’s always the right difficulty level for me. Maybe you can relate?)

I think lace and whites are perfect for springtime, since they don’t compete with the greens and flowers that are starting to appear again.

Today we’re going to add white trim to repurposed jars to make something lovely.

How to upcycle a frame for a hair clip organizer

Since I’ve still got a plethora of unused frames around the house, I recently found another way to use one. I gave it a color makeover and then gave it a new purpose in life– to organize our huge collection of hair clips!

Between me and my two daughters, we have plenty, and since we moved they’ve been crammed into a plastic jar– not very pretty, and not very easily-to-access either.

With a few simple steps (no sewing involved) I made the transformation and gave us a gallery organizer for all our hair lovelies.

Favorite no-sew bunting with vintage fabrics

I’m always a little bit hesitant about crafting with vintage linens. It’s not that I don’t want them on display, it’s just that I’m nervous about cutting into them. (What if they unravel? What if Something Goes Wrong?!)

Once the Christmas tree comes down and the decorations are safely put away until next year, I have such a strong need to organize, simplify and decorate our home. Oh, you too?

What is it about January that makes us want to give away all the toys, organize our linen closet and get pictures on the walls? If you have the answer, please share!

Over the summer, we moved into a new house. I”ve hung a few art pieces but I have yet to even hang up my children”s finger paintings.  In the next month, I”m hoping to accomplish a couple of these DIY wall art projects. They are inexpensive, easy to do and will mean even more to you when done personally.

Thanksgiving is upon us in the U.S., which means that this weekend is the traditional time to stay at home, hiding from the holiday shoppers. (Just me?) What better time to work on homemade Christmas gifts?
