I figured what better way to give you a makeup review than to show it to you in action!

Let’s start with the face. The Pressed Base is very lightweight which I like, but it also gives good basic coverage. I’m not on big face-makeup so this is perfect for me. I’m sure you could apply more for a fuller coverage as well. The Illuminating Powder is a new product for me. It’s similar to a bronzer, in that it provides nice highlights and a bit of that “mineral glow” that I love.
Eye makeup is always my favorite part. I tried the eye pencil in Touch, black mascara (Graphite) and the Imagine eye shadow trio. For me the best measure of the quality of eye makeup is how it lasts. At the end of the day, it still looked good, and I didn’t look like a raccoon– always a plus!
I chose a simple lip gloss color (Reflect). I’m more of a chapstick addict myself, but I really like this lip gloss. It doesn’t taste funny or feel too sticky and I like the shine of it. Perfect for when I want to dress things up a bit.
I love sharing a company with you guys that I can really get behind. To show you what I mean, I want to share with you Mineral Fusion‘s four goals as a cosmetics and personal care company. They sum up their values with the phrase Minerals on Mission, and say:
First, we aim to bring our customers the revitalizing and protecting benefits of minerals, such as magnesium, copper and zinc, which also provide antioxidant defense against damaging free radicals.
Second, we aim to leave the skin in better condition than we found it. This includes providing active ingredients that heal and care for the skin and hair, as well as making our products free of gluten, parabens, talc, artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, SLS, and phthalates.
Third, we want our product to contribute a level of social wellbeing and have officially partnered with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence to support women in need.
Fourth, we are committed to sustainability and utilize wind power, soy inks, packaging from recycled materials and packaging that is recyclable.

I normally wear very little makeup – usually just a bit of lip gloss and mascara.
I think minimal is best. A little blush, eye liner, mascara, nude gloss for the lips. Would love to try this though, need a little coverage as I’m getting older.
Not much. Concealer when needed, a bit of light brown eye shadow, and usually lip balm or lip gloss. I’ve found a bit of blush helps my pale complexion these days. Would love to try Mineral Fusion. Thanks for the giveaway!
I usually don’t wear any, but I’ve been considering trying some mineral makeup for a while now. Would love to give this makeup a try!

I wear tinted lip balm. That’s it. I’m all about the lip color.
I don’t wear much at all, but I’m getting more and more into mineral makeup and might start wearing more.
normally I wear zero makeup, sometimes a very little amount. I would really love this because I have a hard time buying makeup due to me not knowing what is in them or how they are made.

Just “liked” you both on Facebook. Thanks!
On average, I wear a full face of makeup – foundation, powder, blush, eyeshadow with primer, eyeliner, mascara, lip balm, lip liner, lipstick and sometimes a gloss on top.
Just “liked” you both on Facebook! Thanks for the giveaway!
Just mascara…mostly because I’m so leery of what I put on my face.
I wear make up about 4-5 days a week on average, some days if I don’t leave the house I wont put any on. When I do wear make up it’s always the same, never heavier or lighter depending on my mood. Always foundation, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. If I’m feeling lazy its a single color of eyeshadow all over my lid, if I’m getting really fancy I’ll do a smokey outer v or something with multiple colors.
Light makeup, mostly just mascara and something to cover the under-eye circles that come with having a baby.
I definitely go for minimum make-up. A little eye shadow, a little mascara, and I’m good to go!
Both my son and daughter! The sweater dress is so cute!!
oops!
Daily, I don’t wear much, some concealer and maybe lip color. I have been wearing more recently for special occasions, and it sure would be fun to have a great toolbox to play with!

On average, I wear very little makeup. I’m a very wash-and-go type of girl and I usually want just enough makeup to look like I didn’t just crawl out of bed! But, I’m about to go job hunting again and I need to look more “put together” so a set a good makeup would help! Thanks for such a great giveaway!

I would say a moderate amount; foundation, blush, mascara. I have recently cleared my bathroom cabinet of a ton of toxic personal care products including, lotions, shampoo, body wash, deodorant and etc, but still have not found a good makeup line substitute. Thanks for the giveaway!
I wear a foundation, powder, eye shadow, mascera, and lip gloss.
Looks great on you!
I’ve been looking for a good company for mineral make-up.

I don’t wear make-up on a daily basis, but on the days when I actually get a shower (I’m not the only mom with little ones who doesn’t shower every day, right?), I do take the time to put on a little eye shadow and mascara.
I do not wear much make-up, especially not everyday. I do wear it when I’m out, but not all the time. I’m more of a natural girl.

I wear tinted moisturizer, eyeliner, light shadow, mascara & finishing powder. I already use Mineral Fusion mascara, so I would be so happy to have the other products to try! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win.
I like Simple Organic & Mineral Fusion on Facebook. Thanks, again!
Daily a mineral foundation… Haven’t tried this brand… Applied lightly with very light blush and eyeshadow and mascara and lip gloss… Want to look my best fot the hubby!
I wear blush, chapstick & maybe a little cover up daily. I like to wear eyeshadows and mascaras but the nasty chemicals in the cheaper make up scares me, and right now I can’t afford better stuff. Things have been really hard lately so I don’t get to enjoy lovely makeup such as this. Great giveaway!
Thanks for having it!

I’m minimal with my make-up. I don’t wear make-up every day, only for “dress-up” occasions. Even then, I prefer a more natural look.
I don’t wear a lot of makeup unless I am going out. I always wear foundation, a little bronzer, mascara and something on my lips, either tinted lip gloss or chapstick.

I usually do not wear make-up. I stopped after babe three…now have five.
I became aware of what was in my personal care products and plunged into a holistic, organic lifestyle. Thank you for introducing me to Mineral Fusion, a company that brings out beauty without the worry.
I usually wear minimal makeup, try to use a light foundation to cover my dark circles and a little blush & eye shadow. Usually wear 3-5 days a week depending on what I am doing those days.

On average, nothing! I haven’t found anything good enough to wear often.

I rarely wear makeup, just for date nights and performances. But I love mineral makeup!
I wear the basic foundation to even out my skin when needed, mascara, blush, lip gloss and powder. Sometimes I add eye liner or wear eye liner and no mascara, sometimes eye shadow or bronzer. I like to keep a natural look so everything is minimal.
I liked both on FB!
I only wear makeup when I leave the house–about 3 times a week. I would love to try this!
i usually only wear makeup on sundays now!

About once a week. I like to look natural and have been thinking about trying some mineral makeup for a while now.
Just tinted moisturizer and mascara for around the house. I add lipstick and blush if we’re going to be out and about. The whole face for events.
I wear a lot of makeup but I’ve been wanting to switch to more natural products so I’d love to win this!

Makeup? It depends on the day and what I am wearing. If I put on a blouse or scrub with a color from my eye shadow box, on it goes. A little blush, some brow liner and some lip glaze and I’m ready to go. Recently I’ve changed my hair color and I’m wondering about new shades so this would be a good time to find out whats good for a senior redhead.
Very little makeup – just enough to cover some blemishes and make my eyes pop a little.
