I‘m so excited to be starting a new year and love the fresh-start feeling that January 1st brings.
I thought today was the perfect time to encourage those of you who are desiring an even simpler life. Now would be a great time to get started with one of Tsh of Simple Mom‘s super-practical books. If you haven’t read Organized Simplicity yet, I highly recommend it, and her latest eBook, One Bite at a Time, is the perfect tool if you want to really tackle simplifying, one task at a time.
My husband and I are itching to get going on really de-cluttering and simplifying, especially now that we’ve put away our Christmas decorations and can really see what we have to work with.
One Bite at a Time is perfect—perfect—for starting fresh and making changes in your life. That’s why Tsh is offering a code for $1 off from December 30, 2011 through January 10, 2012. Just use the code HAPPYNEWYEAR at checkout.
And this week Tsh is also going to give away a copy of One Bite at a Time to a lucky Simple Organic reader.

Happy New Year everyone!
For us, 2012 brings a huge step towards a simpler life: we will be moving in 3 months to a much smaller house. We decided that this would be our best way to simplify and declutter (and it brings us a large garden to play, become dirty, grow our food and keep chickens). Now “all” we have to do is to declutter so we will fit into this little house of ours! So One Bite at a Time would be very welcome!
I want to simplify my meal planning and preparation. This includes making my kitchen more efficient. Thanks for the giveaway.
I have wanted to get started for so long…this book would be so helpful to us. Some areas I especially need help in: The Paper Pile and kids’ toys!!!

I always feel so bogged down by our children’s toys – especially after the holidays. I try to live a simple life but this is one area that always gets me. I’d love a copy of One Bit at a Time to start simplifying our you situation and then continue through the rest of our home from there!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I would like to simply my home management by becoming more organized with my cleaning routine.
My husband and I are certified to be foster parents but still waiting for our first placement. I’d love to declutter all the extra stuff we’re storing that I doubt we’ll ever use, regardless of the age of the kid we get.
Wishing you all the blessings of the New Year:) Thank you for the excellent reading recommendations!

Happy New Year everyone. What a great item to help pull in the New Year.
I’d love to simplify the paper clutter in our house. It can really overwhelm me!
So many areas…. Kids toys would be a good place to start. Oh and my outdated scrapbooking supplies. However you look at it we’ve got lots to get “less” of in our household.
I want to continue simplifying our living space–this especially means continuing to delete clutter and unneeded possessions, as well as making our home more inviting and cozy through simple decorations.

We are trying to simplify the stuff in our house and get some organization routines. Would love this book.
My garage! The rest of the house is reasonably simplified, but somehow all the “extras” have migrated to the garage. It must be simplified . .. soon!
I want to breath. I wants to walk around my home and not feel stressed with the clutter. Cluttered house, cluttered body, cluttered mind, it is my downfall. Starting with all the unnecessary kids toys / school papers / crafts etc. It’s a big task so I am takingit one breath at a time. Love ur blog.
My life at home. There’s just so much that needs to be done both with myself personally and the stuff. I hate feeling so hurried and stressed at home!
I need to simplify my kitchen. Everything has a place, but nothing knows how to get there. I really need to kick my butt into gear (or by now, I really need someone ELSE almost to do that) and get the organization and chores simplified and done.
i’d love to simplify by getting rid of STUFF!!
I want to simplify the papers we have around the house – getting rid of them, filing them or handling them immediately.
I need to simplify my desk and how I rotate things on and off of it. Happy 2012!

I’d like to simplify my cleaning routine.
I really need to streamline how much time I spend in the kitchen so I can spend more time with people!
Great looking giveaway! I need to simplify things while putting things away in a new house. I always get discouraged when things sit around too long and I had surgery a week after I moved and have been incapacitated since then (& will be for a while longer) and will need a kick to get things done, as well as getting rid of things I don’t really need as I find a place for everything.
I just need to simplify so many areas. So overwhelmed on where to start.
Perfect ! I need to de- clutter my closets..all closets. I am a very clutter free person in the areas of my home all can see. The spaces that only I can see…not so much.
Happy New Year !
I would dearly love to simplify our home education efforts more!
I also had surgery right after moving, then two more, and now I’m pregnant for the first time. There’s lots to be done, and as my nausea fades, my nesting kicks in! This book would be great!
Ugh! What area of my life DOESN’T need to be simplified???

I would like to simplify my mind and my priorities. I feel like I need a focus and vision instead of trying to do so many things and take on new responsibilities.

I want to simplify my meal planning/cooking/grocery shopping. I work full time and have 3 kids at home, and this is definitely one of the most stressful areas of my life. When I go to the grocery store it’s just so overwhelming I throw unhealthy stuff in the cart to get out of there faster!! I am committed to making this area of life easier in 2012, but could use all the help I can get
Thanks!
im ready to tackle the toys!
I want to simplify paper clutter and little “stuff” clutter, those things that just don’t ever really have a home and you just keep moving them to other places as you are cleaning one place. We deep cleaned and purged our kitchen and bedroom over Christmas and so I am in the mood to keep going! This would be a great help!
Actually I want to simplify my life. So, I need to simplify my house… Right now we live in a caos – so much stuff, so little space. I have no idea how to fix this caos. All I know is that I really need to simplify – and for this, I need a guide!
My diet. I have to start eating better food.
I can’t wait to start decluttering my house! Just started Organized Simplicity and I am so inspired and motivated. This would be a great tool!
I can’t wait to start simplifying my basement! We started working on it yesterday and it will take a lot of work and a lot of purging, but I can’t wait until it is done.
I would love to simplify my house. We live in a small house with two growing and active boys. I would love to purge the excess and organize better what’s left.
I would love to simplify & declutter the house this year.
I am definitely working on simplifying meals…I’ve signed up for a meal planning site that does my grocery list for me in hopes to save time and money. And mail…somehow that mail pile is just always out of control!!
I can’t wait to start simplifying my kitchen areas.

I really need to get our garage organized! And the other thing I want to do is to get a really good handle on a cleaning routine.
My whole life needs simplifying so that I can focus on what’s truly important spending time with and investing in my family. My goal for 2012 is to be an intentional person…and simplifying my life will help me be a better wife, mom and homemaker.
