Welcome to Simple Living Media’s Home for the Holidays! We’ve got 25 giveaways across the entire network this week to give you plenty of chances to win a great gift, just in time for the holidays.
This giveaway has ended. Check back on Saturday, December 4 for the winner!
Today I’m giving away two Eco-Go Backpack Jackets from Our Globo. Designed for toddlers on the go, this jacket can be folded up and worn as a backpack when it warms up! It’s perfect for keeping dry and warm, and fun for little ones to carry themselves.
As an independent three-year old, my daughter was amazed when I folded up her jacket into her very own backpack, which is light enough for her to comfortably wear on her back. Plus, it makes one less thing I have to carry, which is great!
The Eco-Go Backpack Jackets are affordably-priced, for such a quality piece of apparel ($38.97) and come in a variety of colors.
Learn more about these practical yet fun jackets and how to win one.
Here are some of the amazing features of this unique jacket:
- Sustainable – made from EcoCircle, RePet recycled polyester fabric
- Multifunctional – switch between jacket and backpack mode in seconds
- 2- layer fabric for full wind and water protection
- Each limited edition jacket is crafted with pride and individually numbered.
Depending on the heaviness you are looking for, the Eco-Go jacket comes with either a fleece or a mesh lining. It also has a hood that can be hidden away into the collar, and an adjustable bungee cord to further seal out the cold around the waist.

Hopefully, Our Globo will someday offer more sizes. In fact, when we went camping last week, my mom was jealously admiring her granddaughter’s new jacket.
For now, this jacket is perfect for the toddler/preschool- age child, as it comes in sizes 2-3 or 4-5. My petite daughter will be four in May, but I oped for the larger size, and I can tell it will last a long time for her.
The jacket kept her warm and dry in the chilly rain, and looked cute to boot!
Our Globo is a family company based in the Pacific Northwest, built on friendship and a passion for sustainability. They want to pass this attitude on to the next generation as well, and as such support educational programs such as the Sustainable Schools Initiative.
“To live wisely, Our Globo seeks to explore, learn, and engage with others as we travel toward a sustaining and hopeful future for current and upcoming generations.”
The Eco-Go Backpack Jacket is the first product Our Globo has designed and produced, and they look forward to designing more products that are socially, environmentally and economically positive.
I have been very pleased with both the Our Globo, the company, and their flagship product, the Eco-Go Backpack Jacket, and would recommend it as a great gift for the little one in your life.

my favorite winter time outdoor activity is playing with the snow!
We live in sunny and snowy state. In the wintertime, we go skiing and (trying to) snowshoeing. The rest of the year, we go hiking. We try to bring kids out to the mountains, cold or warm. Good for our souls!

I don’t really think I have a cold-weather activity I could call a favorite.
But, then we don’t have snow around here….

Cross-country skiing! Went to college in Iowa where the snow actually stayed on the ground long enough to do this. Kansas winters don’t usually afford the opportunity – though last year was a different story!

My favorite outdoor activity is ice skating. In my hometown they have an outdoor rink downtown and it just feels like Christmas no matter when I’m skating.
