Q&A: Homemade Holiday Link Round-Up

I have been seeing so many great ideas for handmade and homemade holidays all over the blogosphere that today I thought it would be fun to “round-up” all the suggestions into one great list of links.

A few readers have already shared links on previous posts, but I know there are plenty of other tutorials, recipes, and other sources of holiday inspiration out there.

So, today, I want to hear from all of you. Here are the details:

  1. Leave your links for handmade and homemade holidays in the comments sections.
  2. It can be a link for something that you created yourself, or someone else – either one works.
  3. Indicate whether it’s a recipe, a gift, a decoration, a tradition, etc.
  4. I will compile all the links into one post this weekend, divided into categories as mentioned above.  Then we will have a one-stop resource for all our green, handmade, homemade, DIY holiday inspiration!

Are you ready? Share with us your best and favorite links for the holidays – I can’t wait to see all your ideas!

I don’t have a blog to show them but this year I am making

Organic cotton handkerchiefs for the men in the family

Silk shawls for my sister-in-laws and mother – I got the directions for this project from the Martha Stewart encyclopedia of sewing and fabric crafts.

I’m also re-purposing a small cupboard into a kitchen set for my son. – he loves pretend cooking.

and I am selling all natural hand cream that I made, it is a combination of coconut oil, coco butter, sweet almond oil, and shea butter in a lovely creamy consistency that absorbs fast and moisturizes all day. I will get a picture together soon if anyone is interested. All the ingredients are organic but I can’t say that the finished product is.

I’m also making all natural lip balm for stocking stuffers.

It has been really fun making stuff for this Christmas
