  1. I am super excited about Make Week! I really am. A little nervous, to be sure. But lots of excited, too! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us.

  2. Like Megan, we are nervous but excited! We don’t watch a lot of TV around here, but Chris and I do like to watch during the evenings and the kids have some cartoons that they like during the week. However, I’m really excited about giving this a try :-)

Here’s to Make Week and trying new things!

  3. I’m not concerned at all. I know I get much more done when I don’t watch TV and I know I can catch up on the two shows I watch online next week. Today, instead of watching TV, I am learning to bind my very first quilt and purging (yay, spring cleaning!). I’m SO excited to participate in Make Week. I’m a huge fan of learning new skills. :)

Funny, I thought it began today and made sure it wasn’t on all day…I couldn’t believe how much i got done! But then, in my exhaustion, I sat down and instinct took over and we flipped on the “tube” What a relief to see i was just “warming up” and hadn’t failed to even survived one day! HAHA. I am excited and nervous for the challenge and have a list of projects that I always mean to get do to work through this week. I am looking forward to your ideas too!

    • LOL, Anne Marie, that is hilarious. Thanks for sharing! Maybe tomorrow, you shouldn’t try to be so productive so you’re not so exhausted. :)

  5. Not sure if hubs will go for this – do you think Wii counts? ;)

  6. You can do it! We’ve done it for a long time now! (and we are not even homeschoolers – anymore! Our 5 kids are in public school [gasp! some of you say!]

oh, PLEASE PLEASE go see my post entitled “We Don’t Have TV” at our blog: http://ourwayswithourkids.blogspot.com/2009/10/we-dont-have-tv.html
I have our story told, and some ideas to help you be successful in it too!

Many blessings – as you go for it!

  7. I took my first loans when I was a teenager and that helped my relatives a lot. However, I need the consolidation loans once more time.
