Sunday Links: Make Week Wrap-Up

Make Week ended on Friday, but today is the official end of TV Turn-Off Week. So, I would love to know: how was your week?

If you have any stories to share, we would love to read them! It doesn’t have to be life-changing; I think we are all looking for encouragement in creativity and whole-hearted living, so every story has value. Please use the comments section to tell us about your experience during Make Week.

And don’t forget that the giveaways close tonight at midnight CST. If you haven’t entered yet, you still have a few hours left – don’t delay!

Giveaways:

Bella Luna Toys
PlanetBox

We had such a great time doing other things as a family. That I talked to my husband and we have decided to get rid of cable. We realized that there are so many more things that we can do instead of watching TV and the feeling of accomplishing something and getting some projects done is great. This has been a turning point for our family. I’m so glad we participated.

My son did SO well with no TV. We went to the park/nature center/fire station everyday. It was great! And tonight my husband said “I kinda like not having the TV on all the time, we get more stuff done and it’s nice”. I’m like “duh!” LOL.
